This Answer Key contains detailed instructions for how to do the following exercises in Workbook B:1: Phonics Penmanship, Phonics Art, Penmanship/Spelling, Phonics Workbook Exercises.

The “Introduction” (pp. iii-viii) to Instructions/Answer Key B:1 contains these helpful guides:

• How to Build Godly Character Through Seatwork Activities. This section includes information on ten “Character Quality Definitions and Biblical Principles” plus how “Seatwork Activities = Great Opportunities for Growth.”
   
• Homeschooling---A Special Window to Children’s Hearts. Building godly character during seatwork sessions is like standing at the window of your children's hearts. Academic assignments are opportune teaching moments because this is when each child's character flaws are likely to surface. But as you faithfully apply the godly pressure of accountability, God will enable you to "see" into each child's carnal nature to deal with it biblically.

Note to Phonics Edition 1 Users: The Home School B:1 workbook is a slightly revised version of the original. To use Edition 1’s Instructions/Answer Key B:1, skip the Aa-Zz review pages at the end of the B:1 workbook (pp. 103-122).

Also Recommended:

The Alphabet & Numbers Tracing Sheets (Part 216) provide additional printing practice. Although these are reproducible, for repeated use each page could be laminated or slipped inside a plastic report cover and placed in a 3-ring binder. For writing practices, using a Dennison Dry Erase Marker or washable overhead transparency pen will wipe off well.
